'New Moon' TV Spot Makes Its Debut!

That's right, here is yet ANOTHER peek at the film that is causing a stir, New Moon.  This is the Tv Spot and I have to say it's pretty darn fantastic.  There's werewolves, heartbreak, vampires, chasing, love and more all in a matter of 31 seconds! LOVE IT!

So if you are interested in seeing the entire spot I found it in clear HD quality here

Here are some screen shots I took from the TV Spot so you don't think it's something you've seen before...

Kudos to Those Who Slept Well After 'Paranormal Activity'

I recently saw the most talked-about ghost flick of the season, Paranormal Activity.  Let me just say, had it not been for the documentary fliming style and the night vision, I would've been completely content with another thriller flick.  HOWEVER, I was just simply freaked the hell out the entire movie.

The story is disturbing and the night vision shots are just plain scary.  Congratulations Oren Peli, you scared the crap out of me.  Normally I would sleep soundly at night, but after seeing this film I wake up at every creak, tap, AC power... you name it.  It's been a long time since I have not been able to sleep at night due to a scary film, so kudos...

The film focuses on a couple who is documenting their paranormal findings in their home for their own sake so they know for a fact they are not going crazy.  Micah buys a camera and records his girlfriend, Katy and his days throughout the day and night.  When things continue to go 'bump' in the night (UNDERSTATEMENT!), Micah feels its best to antagonize the "spirit" to get it to communicate.  After several pleads from his girlfriend to leave the spirit alone and turn the camera off, things take a turn for the worse and every belief they had about the other side is changed forever.

The film is shot documentary style and this increases people's ability to believe this film and all its glory is legit and the couple's house is possessed.   I suggest not seeing this movie alone and not sleeping alone afterward... I'm still trying to get over it!

'The Crow' gets a Reboot!

So, I happened to love 1994's The Crow, featuring Brandon Lee (RIP).  I didn't, however, appreciate all the sequels and whatnot...

BUT, as director Alex Proyas defined a new world for emo-kids all across the world the dark classic, we feel that NOW's as good a time as any to give the flim a good ol' reboot!  According to Comics2flim, Stephen Norrington at Relativity Media says that his script is doing well as it makes the studio rounds and will be, "realistic, hard-edged and mysterious, almost documentary style."

Man, it's about time we have more pre-teens emulating a dark, dead vigilante!  It's been too damn long!  I look forward to seeing where The Dark Knight makeover will take this series... c'mon Norrington, give me something good!

Access Hollywood's New Moon Sneak Peek

So I think that Summit is trying to drive me crazy with all these New Moon clips and footage and pictures!  Why not just release the movie early, cause that's basically what they're doing!!

UGH!  I mean I'm appreciating the inside look and all, but this is getting ridiculous.

HOWEVER, for your Twilight-lover enjoyment, I am placing a 13second sneak peek Access Hollywood put up and they're not done either.  The full clip will be shown on AH on Thursday the 22nd of October.

Seriously, just show me the movie already cause I feel like I've seen most of it already!

Angie to Play a Murderer in Ridley Scott's 'Gucci'

Director, Ridley Scott has been talking about making a movie about the infamous Gucci family, which would climax with the murder of the former fashion tycoon Maurizio Gucci, who was gunned down in 1995 by ex-wife, Patrizia Reggiani.  According to Variety, actress Angelina Jolie has been offered the role as Reggiani.

Regardless of Scott's more anticipated projects like the Alien prequel, and a Monopoly game adaptation, he is actively developing Gucci.  This film is reportedly a priority for Fox 2000, which is in the process of rewriting the script.  The story is said to pan over three decades, not only covering Gucci's murder, but his familys fashion empire as well.

Scott has been said to be hopeful that Leo DiCaprio will play Maurizio Gucci... but I don't think it'll work out.  He doesn't even look like the guy, and him and Jolie would just be a bad match.

'30 Days of Night' Sequel Announces Cast

Believe it or not, 30 Days of Night has a sequel in the works.  With all the vampire hype, I can't imagine why Colombia Pictures would think a sequel would be appropriate... looks like they're just cashing out on a trend.

According to Bloody Disgusting, the sequel, titled 30 Days of Night: Dark Days will star Rhys Coiro (Entourage, 24)  and Mia Kirshner (The Black Dahlia, The L Word) as a human and vampire respectively.  Also, Harold Perrineau (Lost), Kiele Sanchez (The Perfect Getaway), Doira Baird (Accepted, Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning) and Monique Ganderton (Smallville) filling out the cast in unknown roles...

The film will focus on Stella (Melissa George), who after losing her fiance, joins a group of vampire hunters to track and kill the vampires responsible for the killings in her Alaskan town.

I have to say, the first 2007 film ended without any loose ends... so I don't really see why there's a sequel in the mix if not for the Vamp trend going on.  Also, isn't it coincidental that Director David Slade, who directed the first film, is NOW directing another vampire film, Twilight Saga: Eclipse.  Hmm... thoughts?

Trailer for Sundance Claymation Mary & Max

Mary & Max was this year's anticipated film at the Sundance Flim Festival.  However, it was overshadowed by films like, 500 Days of Summer and Moon.  Now the film is seeing release thanks to Sundance Selects and it's availability on-demand right now from various cable providers.

Trailer Addict got its hands on the new trailer for the film, which introduces us to the pen-pal relationship between a lonely Australian girl, Mary (Toni Collette) and an even lonelier Manhattan dude, Max (Phillip Seymour Hoffman).  It looks so cute and emotional... but also weird in a way, which makes a film worth watching cause not everything is as cute and cuddly as it seems!

Check it! Let me know what you think!
