Jackson Rathbone injured on 'Eclipse' Set

NO JASPER!

Apparently Ashley Green isn't the only one with injuries on the newly vicious Twilight Saga: Eclipse set.  On the 24th of September it was reported that actor Jackson Rothbone, who plays Jasper Cullen in the Twilight Saga was slightly injured during  a fight scene rehearsal on Sept 22nd.  As a precaution, Jackson was taken to the hospital and a doctor saw him.  He is fine now and was back on the set of Eclipse today.

As I told you all before, Ashley Green reported to MTV that the training is more intense and the fight scenes are pretty brutal.. I can only imagine how Jackson injured himself.

Ashley stated earlier this month:
We're all working really hard and learning how to kick butt. I don't know if you've seen recent pictures, but I have bruises all over my body. It's those wires. It looks like a hand mark on my arm, and it's definitely from wires."

The Book of Eli debuts its trailer!

The Book of Eli, a post apocalyptic film where Denzel Washington is pretty much a badass in a world where men with guns talk smack to each other and try to rule their territories.

Seems like an interesting trailer and the plot looks so dark and mysterious centering around a book, well Bible really...

Mila Kunis follows Denzel wishing to learn the ways of being a badass and Gary Oldman is trying to get Denzel to join him and his misfits...

The movie is released on January 15th of next year.

Here is the trailer...

The Fly remade by one of its own

David Cronenberg is participating in the remake of his own film!  YES, that's right, it's really odd to see a respected filmmaker to take part in the remake of his 1986 classic, The Fly.

People seem to be in an uproar about the infamously original filmmaker remaking his own film.  Sure Alfred Hitchcock remade The Man Who Knew Too Much, but Cronenberg makes ORIGINAL films, films that other wannabe directors remake!

What do you think?

The Other Guys got names!

Adan McKay and will Ferrell are cooking up something sinful for their next film, The Other Guys.  Now, since it's Will Ferrell and Adam McKay directing and producing this mastermind, we usually think that the film will contain actors that are normally in their comedic circle...
However, they just signed Eva Mendez, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Keaton, Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Mark Walburg and Steve Coogan.
So, what's this movie going to be about with such a random list of actors?  Apparently, there are two cops (Johnson and Jackson) with several "exploits" that are the envy of the entire department, one in particular which includes Will Ferrel's and Mark Walburg's characters.  Coogan is set to play the villian, that should be funny...

I'm ready for some new one liners!!!

"The Host" to be adapted!

Look out J.K. Rowling, Stephanie Meyer may be right on your heels to becoming filthy rich by writing young adult fiction as well!

With the Twilight Saga: New Moon coming out this November, she is already raking in the dough... and she'll add more to her bank account when the next two Twilight Saga films will be made in the coming years.
Well, according to Variety, Meyer's adult novel The Host will be adapted into a movie by an underrated sci-fi director Andrew Niccol (he directed Gattaca).  The book is about an alien race dubbed "souls" that take over the Earth by inhabiting human bodies.  One of the "souls" has some trouble taking over her host and the plot thickens...

I haven't read the book, but with Meyer's usual fiction, I imagine love finds a way in this sci-fi, creepy invasion somehow.

Producerd recently got a hold of the rights to adapation and we imagine Stephanie will be on set... let's hope the director will take the reigns and make this movie intense and awesome!  We don't want it to be Twilight for adults, they won't bite...

Enron the Movie

Yes, it's coming...

Currently people "the world over" in London are laughing at our expense as they watch a stage play called Enron, based on the American energy company that committed huge amounts of fraud.

The show is doing so well, that Sony Pictures has purchased the film rights from the playwright to turn it into a movie.  They're going to even commission the playwright to work on the screenplay about "The most notorious scandal in modern corporate history."

Okay, how interesting is this movie going to be?  Weren't we all wanting to forget about Enron anyway?

UGH... lord

Love Happens: Proceed with Caution

So I just saw Love Happens today with Jennifer Aniston and Aaron Eckhart and I have to say, this romantic drama is not all I hoped it would be.

First of all, the title should be "Death Happens".  Yes, if you have lost a loved one recently or ever... proceed with caution.  The entire movie is about coping with death.  I felt like I was in a 2 hour therapy session rather than a romance movie...

Secondly, the two leads in this movie just don't have the chemistry going.... For a long time I was waiting for some kissing, or a make out sesh... and NADA.  I didn't feel like they really liked each other and couldn't live without one another until the last ten minutes of the film.

Third, your going to need some tissues if your a big cry baby...  Here I thought I was going to see an uplifting romance movie, but instead I was stuck watching tons of people go through the grieving process.  Talk about a downer.  (not to bash on the people that have had to confront the grieving process, I'm one of them)

So in the end... nothing happened (for me at least)
