First Image From 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'!

That's right, its the end of an era!!!  We last saw Harry Potter appear in books in 2007 and now the last chapter is about to come to a close for good on the big screen!  Granted there are two parts to the film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, but still its a bit sad...

USA Today recently spoke with the famous threesome and the film's director, David Yates about how the first installment of the film is going to play out since the majority of the scenes take place away from our beloved Hogwarts.

“We're going for a vérité approach. Being away from Hogwarts, they're like these three refugees on the run. They're out in the big bad world, facing real danger, unguarded by those wonderful benign wizards at Hogwarts. They don't have a home to go to.” -Yates to USA Today

For now we are left with the article and a picture to go along with it from the film.  Looks like Harry, Ron and Hermione are on the go again... or stashing their drugs from the cops... they look frightened.  haha

A New 'Nine' Trailer Reveals Some Plot!

FINALLY!! We get some backstory to Rob Marshall's Nine, coming out on Christmas Day 2009!!!  It's about time, cause if you are not a musical buff then you have NO IDEA what the hell is going on with "Guido" (Daniel Day Lewis) and all these ladies!!  Apple released a third trailer for the film recently and we are extremely thankful.  For you guys that think musicals are for pansies, you may wanna think twice and check out this star studded cast of luminous, beautiful females.

Kate Hudson, Fergie, Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz and Marion Cotillard are the females I'm talking about donning their lace and musical talent (which I didn't think some had!) in this film.  Also, I give Judi Dench and Sophia Loren credit for being just fabulous.  :)

Apparently, famous film director, Guido Contini is stuggling as he keeps mixing business with pleasure (if you know what I mean) and strives to achieve harmony in his professional and personal lives.

Let's take a gander at the new trailer:

'The Hobbit' Filming Delayed

For all you Hobbit lovers out there, here is some bad news.  Unfortunately, pre-production of the film wasn't going as smoothly as its planned March 2010 start date was confirmed.  Now it is being reported that The Hobbit filiming has be delayed until next summer.

The Lord of the Rings director, Peter Jackson gave this statement to a German Newspaper:

It's funny he should say that the studio has not given the green light yet, since they've had, I don't know, FOREVER to work on this... haha  We all know that MGM is needing some cash and The Hobbit will definitely be their meal ticket.  I think the problem here is just getting the writing done.  and finding the perfect cast/Bilbo.

Timing is everything, and perfection is key for these Tolkien tales... but lord knows Middle Earth lovers are going nuts!

Lionsgate Releases New 'Daybreakers' TV Trailer

So with all The Twilight Saga: New Moon buzz floating around, I'm pretty sure everyone is sick of vampire stuff.  NOT ME!  Surprisingly, most people can't get enough of the Vamp-trend going around.  We're eating it up, so to speak.

Well, to go along with the vampire hype now that New Moon has been released, Lionsgate has just released a new TV trailer for its upcoming January film Daybreakers.  We haven't really heard much from this film since the summer release of its first trailer, but here is some more footage to get our blood flowing once more.  :)

Enjoy!

Leaked Image of Don Cheadle in 'Iron Man 2'

This looks more like a photoshopped rendering of the actor Don Cheadle in his Iron Man 2 "War Machine" get up more than an image from the set.  But the point is, that this image was leaked online and I can't wait to see the finished product!  :)  The actual image comes from a advertisement for the upcoming War Machine toy.

We all know what Robert Downy Jr. looks like so no shock there, but people are going nuts over this photo!  First of all, that was SUPPOSED to be Terrance Howard in that armor, but you win some you lose some Terrance.  Sorry.  Second, we know his character gets a suit, but we don't know how suped up it will be?

Apparently there is some kinda gun coming out from his back by his head...  umm can you say busted ear-drums?    Anyway, just wanted to share the Iron Man 2 leakage... haha

'Amityville Horror' remake... AGAIN?!

Yeah so, I don't understnd why this is happening, but it is.   Sadly, it was announced the Weinstein brothers are going to push the envelope further than their 2005 Amityville Horror remake and make yet ANOTHER Amityville film.   Why don't they jsut make a sequel to it?  There were tons of sequels after the 1979 original was released and they definitely have a variety to rip off.

Well, looks like these brothers are jumping on remake bandwagon ONCE MORE.  Hulk did it, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre did it... why not huh?

The 2005 remake starred Ryan Reynolds (WITH A BEARD) practically shirtless in every scene and it grossed $108 million earning more and then some from its $19 million budget.  Now the movie wasn't that big of a blowout as the 1979 original in the Horror genre, but it did the trick.  it got the original film's plot and all that jazz across well.   So why remake a REMAKE?!

I see a pitifull downfall in films to come... remakes of remakes and reboots of films from the 2000s.   (shudder)

The Twilight Saga: New Moon a Step Up from Twilight!

So I finally saw The Twilight Saga: New Moon and all I have to say is... AMAZING upgrade from the first film!  I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the film.  Especially the minutes that included Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner shirtless.  :)

The film was definitely "by the book" and I enjoyed the way Director Chris Weitz gave us more of Edward Cullen (Pattinson) than the book allowed.   Instead of a "velvety voice" in Bella's (Kristen Stewart) mind, we had a mystical ghost of Edward attatched to it.  I also thought the way Jacob Black (Lautner) and Bella's friendship was portrayed was very accurate.  I could feel the longing and pain in Jacob as Bella denied his advances in the book and on-screen there was intense emotions Lautner played out very well.

The break-up scenes were great.  Stewart did a better job keeping her stuttering down to a minimum as she was overcome with emotion and disbelief during these scenes between Edward and Jacob.  THANK THE LORD.  I must say this film was a step up from Twilight (no offense Catherine Hardwick) and I only see the films getting better and growing a larger fan base (which seems impossible! haha)

If you haven't read the books, then this film will definitely make you wanna take a gander at at least ONE of the books... yeah then you won't be able to stop.  Good luck with that!  :)

Please... go see the film!

Anna Kendrick and George Clooney go Up in The Air!

That's right, little Anna Kendrick from Twilight landed a supporting role in Up in the Air ( coming out December 4, 2009with veteran movie star, George Clooney!  It's amazing what a small role in a major movie series will get you!

The story is that Ryan Bingham (Clooney) is constantly on the move, traveling the nation to bascially, terminate people from their jobs.  He gets to live out of a suitcase, toss aside remorse and compassion from his life and he's loving every minute of it.  The downside is that his boss decides to hire young, arrogant Natalie (Kendrick), who develops a method of termination without ever leaving the office; video conferences.  As this threatens Ryans very lifestyle and profession, he takes her along one of his firing expeditions to show her what face to face termination is all about.  The clencher is that she begins to realize the disheartening realities of her profession and Ryan finally begins to see the downfalls to his way of life.

Hmm.... interesting.  This is on my list of movies to see over the holidays!

'Ninja Assassin' :: Jet Li Film on Steroids

Ok, can I just say that the Ninja Assassin movie looks like a Jet Li/Crouching Tiger film on Crack!  In this first teaser trailer, it looks like something out of Frank Miller's 300.  The evil kid, with no shirt on breathing hard, beating the crap out of another kid... hmm seen it before!!!  Then there's the kid all grown up just being a ninja badass that pulls a Bruce Wayne-like, betrayl move on his trainer/father and yeah... you get it.

So the other ninja badasses are after him... and this Liu Kang-type just kills everyone with his special ninja moves.  I feel like I've seen all this before... but the effects and action seem pretty solid.  Who knows, I may go see it with a bunch of dudes... cause I think my lady friends wont enjoy it as much.  HAHA

The Yellow Handkerchief Trailer: K-Stew Picks Up a Hitchhiker

Somewhere in between becoming the most famous breakout young actress in film thanks to her role as "Bella" in The Twilight Saga; Kristen Stewart found time to fill a role in an indie film titled, The Yellow Handkerchief.

The film stars K-Stew as a young girl with her scrawny boyfriend on a journey.  The couple happens by a man (William Hurt) and decide to give him a lift.  On that "lift" they discover he's lost in love and needs help rekindling his flame with the love of his life (Maria Bello) that he can't forget.  With the help of these young lovers, I imagine Love is restored and Love is discovered at the same time.  So.. it's an indie film about Love... couldn't hurt yeah?

Check it out:

2 Possible 'Independence Day' Sequels?!

According to Cinema Blend, director Ronald Emmerich planned to resurrect the ID4 franchise with a sequel, which was inspired partly by President Obama!  However, Emmerich talked with MTV recently and said that he was planning to make possibly more than one Independence Day sequel.

He stated, "What we want to do in the next, is actaully two movies-- we want to do a bigger arc..."

What will the arc be about?  How is this going to happen?  What story can be told?!  Give me some answers Ronny!!

Emmerich told Cinemablend that he saw Independence Day as a story of a king leading his country against an invader.  It appears he will continue this theme.

"The idea is just to continue the story and actually I don't know how many years ago this was-- twelve, thirteen, fourteen years ago-- and just continue where it ended."

So, the plot is definitely going to be the same, but what about the title of the film? When asked about the title of the sequel, Emmerich suggested, "ID4-ever. Part I and Part II maybe? "

I really hope he's joking.  He's going to have to do better than that!

In case you missed it: New Salt Trailer

I am so ready for this film!  Not only does it have Angelina Jolie being a badass again, but she's a spy which equals ACTION-PACKED!  The point of SALT is that she's a spy and she doesn't even know it!!!  No it's not like Bourne Identity or something... but it's more like a defector accuses Evelyn Salt (Jolie) to be a sleeper spy when she's sworn an oath to protect her country by serving in the CIA.  So, Salt's in a rut and she does what she does best, run and fight her way to the truth.  I'm just ready to Angelina kick some ass again.  It's been too damn long.  :)

Here's the trailer.  Enjoy!

'Mad Men' Writer Remaking 'Fright Night'!

Marti Noxon has had great luck writing and even producing some episodes of the TV hit Mad Men.  However, she even has TV pedigree dating all the way back to Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel... and let's just say she's been tapping into her vampy past lately.

Dreamworks has hired her to remake the classic 1985 horror comedy, Fright Night.  (I told you remakes are in this season, but Vampires are even more IN! What movie better to remake than a vampire filled classic?! )

The movie is about a teenager who finds out his neighbors are vampires and not the kind that's romantic and sparkles.  THR says that the plan is to keep the same "campy comedy vibe".

Can't wait to see how Noxon brings a little bit of her Buffy-esque side back to meet her new Mad Men style of writing to the table.

'Leap Year' Trailer and Poster Revealed Today

So, I was hoping this movie would be better than those cheesy romantic comedies than we've all seen in the past.  The last romantic comedy I saw was probably The Proposal.  However, Leap Year, starring the adorable Amy Adams and the handsome Matthew Goode, seems to be unimpresive so far.  It actually had some of the same scenes as The Proposal!!  There is a scene where the two must pretend to be married and then kiss in front of people.  RIP OFF!

But, I must admit, I'm  sucker for Amy Adams... so I hope there is more than meets the eye here (and no I don't hope there are Transformers in this flick!)

Here is the trailer... thoughts?

Dreams behind 'Avatar'

In a new featurette, Director James Cameron explains some of his dreams that inspired him to finally bring the film, Avatar, to life.  After waitng years for technology to catch up to Cameron's creation, he has dusted off the script and put in $250 million into his project.  The featurette includes some great images and insight into the creation of Avatar.  I want this movie to do well, but it's so obscure and full of blue aliens that I just need more of these featurettes to understand it!

Singing and Pig's Blood... unlikey combo?

Look out Sweeny Todd, you may not be the only musical now that has vast amounts of blood around!  That's right, the most infamous musical flop, Carrie, is being revived!

The show only ran for five perfomances in 1988, but set a new standard on the Broadway Crap Scale... and they lost $8 million.  OUCH!

Rent, Avenue Q and Westside Story producers Jeffery Seller and Kevin McCollum are behind the idea of bringing horror back to the stage.  Next month, they will be putting on a six-figure workshop of the muscial based on Stephen King's novel about a damaged teenage girl with telekinetic powers.

Let's hope thenew version of the musical won't make the same mistakes as the original...
I never saw it, but apparently the high school gym set looked like a Greek temple, the students wore togas, and there were boys in leather slaughtering pigs...  umm no thanks!

So... let's get it right this time eh?  King wrote this novel without the idea of Caesar in the back of his head or The Gods... k?

Brad Pitt and Josh Brolin may 'Go Like Hell'

20th Century Fox is pulling out its checkered flag for its new racing flick, Go Like Hell.  Car-lovers and gear heads are lining up for this film that is based off a recently optioned book called, "Go Like Hell: Ford, Ferrari, and their Battle for Speed and Glory at Le Mans".

Set in the 1960s, the book tells the true story of Ford Motor Company's attempt to beat the exotic euro auto manufacturers at their own game by hiring a team to beat them in European racing.  Now in the 60s... there wasn't much safety equipment as there was today, so that means the drivers were pretty much daredevils as they were professionals.

Was most interesting about this project is the big names that may involved with it.  Producer Lucas Foster was dishing out all the plans for the film on Adam Carolla's Podcast.

Lucas says, “I have a lot of interest from big actors. It would shock you the telephone calls that have come in from people.” In particular Foster says, “There’s a lot of conversation with my good friend, Brad Pitt.”

He further commented that he has been talking to Josh Brolin and mentioned Russell Crowe, Matt Damon, Eric Bana and Daniel Day Lewis as other actors of interest.

Scream Awards: New Moon Behind the Scenes Footage

In case you missed it, Spike's 2009 Scream Awards was pretty much badass...

Who doesn't love an unorthodox awards show thats designed to recognize comics, horror and sci-fi genres?!  Aside from the awards given were many "world premier" trailers and footage of upcoming movies and so on.  I think the most anticipated footage was the behind the scenes look for The Twilight Saga: New Moon actor Taylor "hunkychild" Lautner aka "Jacob Black" presented after he accepted an award for Twilight.

The clip was all about the werewolves and had interviews from Tay Tay and is pack.  It was a great inside look to how the guys kick it in the woods.  :)

Here is the clip, in case you had something better to do last night than watch an amazing awards show...

Somewhat New-ish 'Alice In Wonderland' Trailer @ Scream Awards

So last night, at Spike's 2009 Scream Awards, a "WORLD PREMIER" trailer was shown for the upcoming Tim Burton classic remake, Alice In Wonderland.  However, it was pretty much nothing new... so I don't know where the term World Premier came from?

With only a couple new snippits added, the trailer is pretty much the same thing you've been seeing in theaters.  Unless you've been living under a rock and don't go see any movies in theaters, you didn't miss anything...

Just for you, here is the trailer...

Trailer: 'Invictus' finally shows its face

FINALLY!  One of the most unknown Fall movies (potential Oscar winner?) has finally released a trailer.  Clint Eastwood's Invictus trailer hit the web on Apple.com, and shows Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon playing South Africans.  Damon plays captain of the national Rugby team and Freeman plays someone he was born to play; Nelson Mandela.

The story is set after the end of apartheid and at the beginning of Mandela's presidency.  This uplifting story with added sports drama should give us a great insight into how that day felt to all of South Africa when the natioal rubgy team won the World Cup.  Seems that Morgan Freeman doesn't exactly need any help looking the part of Mandela... but I hear Damon's Afrikaans accent is coming along good!

Here is the trailer

'The Fourth Kind' Clip Reveals a Terrifying Close Encounter

The timing is slightly off for the film, The Fourth Kind to premier.  Halloween is this week and the movie look absolutely terrifying, but unfortunately it is being released in theaters November 6th.  :(

Luckily, we get little clips released online to scare, and entice us more.  In this clip, actress Milla Jovovich is frightened beyond belief by something that's "not an owl".  We know the film is based on fact.  Also, that in 2000, in the town of Nome, Alaska, there was a string of unexplainable disappearances (maybe alien related).  What we don't know is how the director, Olatunde Osunsanmi is going to spin this story and scare the bejesus out of America?!  I'm so down to see this!!

Enjoy

New Moon gets another TV Spot with Old Footage

So, if you're a hard-core New Moon fan or Twilighter... this is nothing new to you.  I'm afraid it's just the same old footage we've been seeing over and over.  But, you know what, it's about time Summit stopped releasing new footage!  I know at tomorrow's SCREAM Awards on SpikeTV, Taylor Lautner is going to reveal some new stuff... but ugh I'm happy that we're starting to see old scenes that way I can look forward to the movie when it comes out on November 20th.

Here you go:  New TV Spot #2

DeNiro and Stiller "Little Fockers" Set Pic!

Little Fockers is definitely happening!  The shoot is underway, and that means it's on its course for its June 30, 2010 release.  I bet we'll be seeing more set pics in the future.  Here's the first one so far... looks like Ben Stiller and his on set Daddy-in-law, Robert DeNiro are laughing it up between takes.  :)

Coen Bros. take on 'True Grit'

So, I aven't read the classic novel, True Grit, but I hear tell it's pretty good.  Chris Portis' novel is supposed to be adapted by none other than the Coen Brothers.  In case you didn't know, the Coen's directed The Big Lebowski, A Serious Man and the Oscar-winning adaptation of the novel, No Country For Old Men.  It is said that the brothers are already set on getting Jeff Bridges (yet again) for the role of the main character, Rooster Cogburn.  There is even talk of getting Matt Damon to play La Boeuf, who joins Cogburn on his quest to find the killer of a 14 year-old girl's father.  Josh Brolin is said to be in discussions to play the killer.  The original film, True Grit was made in 1969 and starred John Wayne... so I'm interested to see how Bridges plays this... Cogburn.

Now, like I said, I haven't read the book or seen the original film so I don't if these guys match the characters properly... but if the Coen's win awards for this film... they'd better say more at the Oscars than "Thanks".

'New Moon' TV Spot Makes Its Debut!

That's right, here is yet ANOTHER peek at the film that is causing a stir, New Moon.  This is the Tv Spot and I have to say it's pretty darn fantastic.  There's werewolves, heartbreak, vampires, chasing, love and more all in a matter of 31 seconds! LOVE IT!

So if you are interested in seeing the entire spot I found it in clear HD quality here

Here are some screen shots I took from the TV Spot so you don't think it's something you've seen before...

Kudos to Those Who Slept Well After 'Paranormal Activity'

I recently saw the most talked-about ghost flick of the season, Paranormal Activity.  Let me just say, had it not been for the documentary fliming style and the night vision, I would've been completely content with another thriller flick.  HOWEVER, I was just simply freaked the hell out the entire movie.

The story is disturbing and the night vision shots are just plain scary.  Congratulations Oren Peli, you scared the crap out of me.  Normally I would sleep soundly at night, but after seeing this film I wake up at every creak, tap, AC power... you name it.  It's been a long time since I have not been able to sleep at night due to a scary film, so kudos...

The film focuses on a couple who is documenting their paranormal findings in their home for their own sake so they know for a fact they are not going crazy.  Micah buys a camera and records his girlfriend, Katy and his days throughout the day and night.  When things continue to go 'bump' in the night (UNDERSTATEMENT!), Micah feels its best to antagonize the "spirit" to get it to communicate.  After several pleads from his girlfriend to leave the spirit alone and turn the camera off, things take a turn for the worse and every belief they had about the other side is changed forever.

The film is shot documentary style and this increases people's ability to believe this film and all its glory is legit and the couple's house is possessed.   I suggest not seeing this movie alone and not sleeping alone afterward... I'm still trying to get over it!

'The Crow' gets a Reboot!

So, I happened to love 1994's The Crow, featuring Brandon Lee (RIP).  I didn't, however, appreciate all the sequels and whatnot...

BUT, as director Alex Proyas defined a new world for emo-kids all across the world the dark classic, we feel that NOW's as good a time as any to give the flim a good ol' reboot!  According to Comics2flim, Stephen Norrington at Relativity Media says that his script is doing well as it makes the studio rounds and will be, "realistic, hard-edged and mysterious, almost documentary style."

Man, it's about time we have more pre-teens emulating a dark, dead vigilante!  It's been too damn long!  I look forward to seeing where The Dark Knight makeover will take this series... c'mon Norrington, give me something good!

Access Hollywood's New Moon Sneak Peek

So I think that Summit is trying to drive me crazy with all these New Moon clips and footage and pictures!  Why not just release the movie early, cause that's basically what they're doing!!

UGH!  I mean I'm appreciating the inside look and all, but this is getting ridiculous.

HOWEVER, for your Twilight-lover enjoyment, I am placing a 13second sneak peek Access Hollywood put up and they're not done either.  The full clip will be shown on AH on Thursday the 22nd of October.

Seriously, just show me the movie already cause I feel like I've seen most of it already!

Angie to Play a Murderer in Ridley Scott's 'Gucci'

Director, Ridley Scott has been talking about making a movie about the infamous Gucci family, which would climax with the murder of the former fashion tycoon Maurizio Gucci, who was gunned down in 1995 by ex-wife, Patrizia Reggiani.  According to Variety, actress Angelina Jolie has been offered the role as Reggiani.

Regardless of Scott's more anticipated projects like the Alien prequel, and a Monopoly game adaptation, he is actively developing Gucci.  This film is reportedly a priority for Fox 2000, which is in the process of rewriting the script.  The story is said to pan over three decades, not only covering Gucci's murder, but his familys fashion empire as well.

Scott has been said to be hopeful that Leo DiCaprio will play Maurizio Gucci... but I don't think it'll work out.  He doesn't even look like the guy, and him and Jolie would just be a bad match.

'30 Days of Night' Sequel Announces Cast

Believe it or not, 30 Days of Night has a sequel in the works.  With all the vampire hype, I can't imagine why Colombia Pictures would think a sequel would be appropriate... looks like they're just cashing out on a trend.

According to Bloody Disgusting, the sequel, titled 30 Days of Night: Dark Days will star Rhys Coiro (Entourage, 24)  and Mia Kirshner (The Black Dahlia, The L Word) as a human and vampire respectively.  Also, Harold Perrineau (Lost), Kiele Sanchez (The Perfect Getaway), Doira Baird (Accepted, Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning) and Monique Ganderton (Smallville) filling out the cast in unknown roles...

The film will focus on Stella (Melissa George), who after losing her fiance, joins a group of vampire hunters to track and kill the vampires responsible for the killings in her Alaskan town.

I have to say, the first 2007 film ended without any loose ends... so I don't really see why there's a sequel in the mix if not for the Vamp trend going on.  Also, isn't it coincidental that Director David Slade, who directed the first film, is NOW directing another vampire film, Twilight Saga: Eclipse.  Hmm... thoughts?

Trailer for Sundance Claymation Mary & Max

Mary & Max was this year's anticipated film at the Sundance Flim Festival.  However, it was overshadowed by films like, 500 Days of Summer and Moon.  Now the film is seeing release thanks to Sundance Selects and it's availability on-demand right now from various cable providers.

Trailer Addict got its hands on the new trailer for the film, which introduces us to the pen-pal relationship between a lonely Australian girl, Mary (Toni Collette) and an even lonelier Manhattan dude, Max (Phillip Seymour Hoffman).  It looks so cute and emotional... but also weird in a way, which makes a film worth watching cause not everything is as cute and cuddly as it seems!

Check it! Let me know what you think!

11 New Moon Images Released!

Yes, that's right... pretty much we'll see the entire movie still-by-still by the time November 20th rolls around.

But here are some images provided by Summit Entertainment.  Thanks SUMMIT!

Wes Craven May Direct Scream 4 After All!

So on Monday, Cinemablend wrote an article where a "scooper" claimed that  Scream 4 would definitely included Wes Craven as the director.  Well, Craven repsonded to this via Twitter and confirmed it, sort of...

Here is what he tweeted:
"In response to the rumors about me directing SCREAM 4, a deal has not yet been set, so stay tuned for accurate information.”

My take on this tweet is that he intends to direct the slasher flick and that he is in negotiations concerning the film but nothing has been set in stone.  However, it's still open to interpretation...

As Wes said... Stay tuned!

Sherlock Holmes New Trailer

Sherlock Holmes has a brand new, action-packed trailer that was released this week!
I can't wait!  Jude law and Robert Downey Jr. look like a great team and seem to compliment each other with Holmes' crazy experiements and tactics and Watson's practical mind and logical eye.

Here's the trailer! Starts off slow... then it gets intense! Just how I like it...

NEW MOON Exclusive Clip!

Last night, ET decided to unveil an exclusive New Moon clip revealing, for the first time, how Jacob's friend 'Paul' (Alex Meraz) phases into a wolf before Bella's eyes.

Funny how they showed this clip when it's exactly one month from today that the movie theaters will be jam-pack with Twilighters screaming for Jacob, Edward and Bella.

Photobucket
The clip shows an angry Bella (Kristen Stewart) stalking towards Jacob's (Taylor Lautner) wolf pack.  She is in the dark about the whole man-changing-into-a-wolf ability, and she is pissed that Jacob is scared and acting strange towards her.  She confronts 'Sam Uley' (Chaske Spencer) and demands to know what he has done to her friend because he tells her nothing because of Sam.  Paul decides to give a chuckle as no answers are given to her and she punches him in the nose.  Unable to control his anger, Paul phases into a large grey wolf and lunges after Bella as she runs towards a pissed off Jacob.  She screams, "Jake run!" but Jacob leaps over her and phases into a red-furred wolf in mid-jump to protect her.  SCENE!

Aparently the intensity of the scene got some viewers asking some questions to Alex Meraz about the scene at a "Twilight convention" during Q&A.  Alex admitted that he went too far with Kristen in one take of the scene by grabbing her throat and shouting his line mere inches from her face...  geez!

"Director, Chris Weitz comes off-set like, 'Yeah, I like the energy Alex, but just take it down a little,'" fellow wolf brother, Chaske Spencer recalled.  "Meanwhile the producers were freaking out back there..."

The clip, with an introduction by Taylor "makemeacradlerobber" Lautner is now FREE on iTunes... don't forget there is another sneak peek on the way at Spike's 2009 Scream Awards!

Here's the clip, if you don't wanna venture over to iTunes....

Can't WAIT!  Geez... I feel we'll see the whole movie by the time November rolls around!

Stan Lee Want More than a Cameo!

So the legendary Stan Lee dished a few details over at Collider in an interview about upcoming projects like Iron Man 2 and Kenneth Branagh's Thor.  WARNING: light spoiler alert...

Lee admitted that he will be adding the role of Larry King to his laundry list of Marvel film cameos.  However, he made sure we all knew that it wasn't his idea, yet he said he had fun doing it but wishes he could have a bigger cameo already!

One other detail given in the interview was if Stan Lee was really joking when he said he wanted to show up as "Odin" for the next in the dwindling list of Avengers set-ups, Thor.  As interviewers giggle to themselves, Lee tells them that he was really upset that Branagh didn't even consider him for the role.  Umm, not sure how this 86 year-old could flex his dissolving muscles to cast lightening down upon his foes...  but it would be hilarious to watch!  Even though he won't be playing a God, you can still bow before him when he pops into the screen in his cameos.  :)

Jamie Foxx Joins 'The Hangover' Team

So... I haven't seen Jamie Foxx in a comedy since probably Booty Call.  (And it hurt my brain)

So I can see why he would be so eager to join up with The Soloist co-star, Robert Downey Jr. once again, but in a comedy role instead of a dramatical one.  According to Foxx, he is teaming up The Hangover director, Todd Phillips to film a flick called, Due Date.

Foxx gave praise for Phillips and called him "The funniest guy in the world..."

This film will reunite Phillips with The Hangover's Zach Galifianakis to tell a story a father-to-be (Downey Jr.)  who is forced to hitch a ride with a complete slacker (Galifianakis) in order to make his child's birth on time.  Of course, we can predict chaos in this little journey to the delivery room, which will explain Foxx's character, a former lover of his buddy's wife and mommy-to-be (Michelle Monaghan) whom he can't get over.

"Robert Downey Jr. is this guy and his wife is about to have a kid, "Foxx explained to MTV, "I knewhis wife back in the day and we had a little thing, but he doesn't know about it- and I don't know whether to tell him about it.... it's just this funny road trip."

The film is said to being shooting soon, but if you want your fill of Foxx before then, you can see him starring in Law Abiding Citizen opposite Gerard Butler which came out in theaters this past weekend.

Vin Diesel is all in for 'xXx 3'

So here's some rumor control...  recently a website with a trusted source mentioned that actor Vin Diesel had dropped out of the xXx 3 project.  Well, that's not true...

People suspected it would be true due to director Rob Cohen's departure.  However, this aint the case for Vin.  Diesel started the franchise in 2002, and then in 2005 Ice Cube took over as the new xXx hero.  As this rumor is untrue... and I hoped it would be so I didn't have to Ice Cube in another action flick (Lord help him), Diesel is still on board for the project xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.  Expected release date is in 2011, but I doubt I'll be anxiously awaiting outside the door for this film to be released.  Never was a big Diesel fan... no offense to you Vin Diesel-lovers out there.  :)

New Vampire Cast for Vamp 'Lucy' Role for "Eclipse"!!

TV actress, Kristen Prout (Kyle XY, Elektra), is set to join in on the Vampire fun in Twilight Saga: Eclipse.  She will play the role as the vampire Lucy in Jasper Hale's (Jackson Rathbone) backstory.  Her character plays a critical role in his past as she and the vampire Maria (Catalina Sandino Moreno) build an army of blodsuckers in the south during the Civil War.  Unfortunately, her partner in crime and the newly inducted Jasper will eventually kill her... but at least there's a face to the name!

I can't wait!!!

Get ready for more X-Men!

After director Bryan Singer mention he would be returning to the X-Men franchsise, his producer Lauren Shuler-Donner gave out some juicy details about some of the latest X-Men spinoffs:

Wolverine 2:
"It's actually the story we wanted to use for the first Wolverine film, but Tom Rothman preferred to set the character up with an origin story first. What’s cool about this part of the saga is that Wolverine will be fighting in a different style to what we’ve seen before. Mariko’s father has this stick-like weapon, so Wolverine will have to fight against that. There’ll be samurai, ninja, katana blades, different forms of martial arts — mano-a-mano, extreme fighting."

X-Men: First Class:
"We want it to be like the recent, darker Potters. It should not be a kiddie movie: we’re in the X-Men world so you can’t suddenly change the tone. The First Class comics are really fun — they’re funnier than any other comics I’ve read. Basically in each one the kids are fighting strange villains, sometimes it’s aliens, sometimes it’s monsters. I want to get a flavour of that world."

Deadpool:
"I don’t see it as a problem that Ryan Reynolds is also playing Green Lantern. I mean, look at Harrison Ford – he was in Stars Wars and Indiana Jones at the same time and everyone was fine with that. Green Lantern could not be more different to Wade Wilson. Green Lantern is a guy who finds a ring and is thrust into this world, much like Spider-Man. Wade Wilson is a bad ass, a wise-cracking mercenary, who will go out and kill anyone for money. But the thing about him is that, underneath it all, and he wouldn’t want you to know this, sometimes he’s not such a bad ass after all."

Geez, they won't quit huh?  Well, its a good thing they won't stop continuing the X-Men series cause I'm definitely not tired of seeing Hugh Jackman in his Wolverine role and Ryan Reynolds and all those other X-men hotties in their mutan get-ups.  Bring it ON!  :)

Sunday Box Office Report!

Children's book turned movie, Where the Wild Things Are is definitely on it's way to earning back its $80 million budget as it earns the number one spot in Sunday's box office report. Gerard Butler's Law Abiding Citizen takes number 2 this opening weekend and we expect it to remain there for quite some time.  Paranomal Activity continues to move up the ladder (as I predicted it would) and Couple's Retreat drops to number 4.

1. "Where The Wild Things Are" ($32.5 million)
2. "Law Abiding Citizen" ($21.3 million)
3. "Paranormal Activity" ($20.3 million)
4. "Couples Retreat" ($17.9 million)
5. "The Stepfather" ($12.3 million)

Robert Langdon Will Be Back!

Dan Brown's new thriller, The Lost Symbol, hit bookshelves mid-September and Tom Hanks... yeah he's already finished reading it! Of course, it was a given that he would finish reading the book right away seeings as he has played Brown's leading male, Robert Langdon twice already on the big screen (DaVinci Code and Angels & Demons).

" I just finished it last week.  Page-turner.  Dan knows how to weave a tale.  I was exhausted by the end of it." Hanks told MTV on the Where the Wild Things Are red carpet.  Hanks was all smiles as he tried to dodge any questions about the possibilities of Robert Langdon making it back to the big screen once more.

"I'd love to if they're going to do it..." he spoke when asked if he's spoken with director Ron Howard about adapting the book.  "They're incredibly fun movies to make and I think they're really fun movies to watch too... They're very intricate, very dangerous, steroid-pumped scavenger hunts and I think everyone likes to be in on the clues and the trail and the signs.  If they make it again, I hope they ask me, if they didn't... what did I do wrong?"

Potential Drag Role for Ryan Reynolds

So, the potential new role for the ever-so-gorgous Ryan Reynolds holds a big twist...  Variety used the term, "dude-in-drag comedy,"as if this genre has been around.  I can't remember the last drag comedy I've seen... Perhaps Tootsie?  Cause it sure wasn't Big Momma's House.

Yet, I'm sure if there is anyone that can still look hot in pearls and a dress, it's Reynolds, who (lets face it) can do basically anything these days.

Working Title tied for the comedy concept, which will be written by Allen Loeb, who wrote both Wall Street 2 and the Jennifer Aniston/Jason Bateman film, The Baster.

Hmm.. I know everyone is just wondering how the hell he's gonna act in drag?!
